Church Moderator
2006-2007

Charles "Chuck" Huddy is our Church Moderator* for 2006-2007. "Action speaks louder than words" could be our new moderator's guiding principle as seen in his past leadership in the Board of Trustees and other Boards. He believes in responsible stewardship of each member and encourages people to be involved, using their spiritual gifts and talents, in the work of the church.

Chuck has been an active member of our church for 28 years since October 1978. He served on various Boards including the Board of Trustees, Mission, Diaconate, Christian Education and the Long Range Planning Group.

As Past Chairman of Board of Trustees (1997-2003), Chuck knew that church property needs exceed the budgeted financial resources and, therefore, steered the Board through his able leadership in priority management of  needed projects. In the year 2002, he was recognized Layperson of the Year by the church for his selfless and dedicated service for the cause of Christ and the church.

Married to Cynthia "Cindy" Huddy, Chuck is a father of two grown sons. Now retired, he endeavors to visit regularly his native State of Hawaii and be connected to his family without neglecting his responsibilities in our Church and home in Malden.
