The church’s traditional Christmas Mail has been sent. Please check it out. Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As you may be aware, we have selected a new name “Malden Community Church” (yet to be official) to sound more welcoming to the people in the community. Baptisms, Carol Festival, Men’s breakfast, Bible study, young professional’s meet, serving at Bread of Life, prayer walks, Easter Sunrise Worship, special Thanksgiving worship and many more exciting things have happened this year, along with our fellow worshipers and we have grown to love each other a little bit more. Read more >

  • Christmas Poinsettias are now ready for order in memory or in honor of your loved ones. Orders must be received by December 15. For details, please click here.

A SERVICE OF BELIEVER’S BAPTISM. We are planning a service of baptism as a part of our Sunday morning worship on Sunday, December 8th. If you have put your trust in Christ for forgiveness of sin and a life, eternal, but have not gone through the waters of baptism, contact the pastor to be sure to know of two upcoming baptism classes prior to the 8th

A new activity was held in the church parlor on November 26, 2024. It is Thanksgiving Night, a night of testimonies and songs praising God for His faithful love and care to believers in Jesus Christ and to all His creation. An audio recording was made for this event. To listen please click here.

NOVEMBER MEN’S BREAKFAST DATE CHANGE – Normally we meet for breakfast on the third Saturday of each month, but this month, we will be meeting on the fourth Saturday, November 23. at 9 AM at the Brother’s Deli, 404 Main Street in Wakefield.

On Saturday, March 9, James Hickey and family will hold a memorial service for Elizabeth “Betty” Hickey at 11:00 a.m. in the church parlor. Betty passed away on Friday morning, March 4, 2022.
Who is Betty Hickey? Learn more here
Did you know? Betty Hickey was the first recipient of “Layperson of the Year” in 1992 followed by 28 other church members. The Layperson of the Year award ended in 2016. Each year the church recognizes a member in the church family who goes above and beyond the regular church attendance. A person (or couple) who is always willing to go that extra mile for the cause of Christ and good of the church is selected Layperson of the Year. With the majority vote of the congregation under the auspices of the Church Council, the recipient is granted this award with a lunch fellowship in the month of June.
